LearnWorlds 30 Day Free Trial, Still Available in 2023?

LearnWorlds Free Trial Review

Do you want to share your knowledge with people online and earn a living? Do you want to turn your hobbies into full-time work?

If so, you may have considered becoming an online course creator at some point. But was discouraged, as the profession comes with a lot of confusing technical aspects and is overall a bit of a mess. Believe me, as an experienced course creator I have spent years trying to figure out how to build an online audience and how to make my vision a reality.

Well, now all that is in the past. These days, most people, from newbies to experienced entrepreneurs use an all-in-one platform to start their online school. If this doesn’t sound familiar, then do Kajabi, Teachable, and Thinkific ring a bell?

Today, I will be reviewing the free trial of one such platform – LearnWorlds. Since its founding LearnWorlds have garnered an impressive reputation. Let’s see if this still holds true in 2022.

In this review, we’ll take an in-depth look at the features and benefits of the LearnWorlds free trial to help you decide whether or not the platform is for you. We’ll also show you how to get started with a free trial of LearnWorlds so that you can try it out for yourself.

But first, I think an introduction is due.

LearnWorlds – An All-In-One Platform To Sell Online Courses

LearnWorlds is a cloud-based e-learning platform that enables users to create and sell courses online. Founded by Panos Siozos, Fanis Despotakis, and Giorgos Palaigeorgiou in 2014, what started as a small company in Cyprus has become a leader in the field with over 5000 customers from around the globe. The co-CEO Panos Siozos, when asked about his intentions, said “We set out to create the best and most accessible course creation platform for educators who are as passionate about teaching as we are”.

And from the looks of things, these aren’t just empty words. The platform offers a wide range of features, including course authoring tools, a built-in payment gateway, video hosting, and more. LearnWorlds also offers a white-label solution, which allows users to brand their online courses with their own logo and domain name.

The exact features you will get will be decided by your chosen plan. If you are not sure which one to pick, then don’t worry. You can familiarize yourself with the platform with the LearnWorlds free trial. Speaking of which let us get right into the review.

LearnWorlds Free Trial

Currently, LearnWorlds offers a 30-day free trial for each one of their paid plans. The LearnWorlds plans are the Starter plan, the Professional trainers plan, and the Learning Center plan.

To begin with, what impressed me the most was that during the free trial period you unlock all services of the chosen plan, even the advanced features. For example, let’s say you chose the most popular plan, the Learning Center, then you would get everything that this premium 249$/month deal has to offer for an entire month with no extra fee and with a money-back guarantee.

I was quite shocked by this generous free trial, as it’s very difficult to find a free trial with no limitations, even more so one for as long as 30 days, most platforms offer only 14 days for the trial. To me, this conveys confidence in their platform. Let’s see where this confidence comes from.

LearnWorlds Free Trial Experience

The biggest plus to LearnWorlds is that you can choose which plan’ free trial you want. In this review, I chose the default Learning Center free trial.

The free trial doesn’t require a credit card, and all you have to input are your school’s name and password. Afterward, you have to fill in some basic information about localization settings. The whole process took less than 2 minutes and I didn’t even break a sweat.

What surprised me was that right after the account creation you had to choose the school’s appearance from a series of templates. While it may seem a bit forceful I think this is a great way to encourage new teachers, and you can always change the template later in the settings as well.

What I appreciate greatly was the continued support that LearnWorlds offered me throughout the free trial period. Right after registration, you will be offered mentor services.

Now let’s move on to the meat and potatoes of the review. When you first log in to your Dashboard you will be greeted with a series of video content explaining everything you need to know about the site. I expected the videos to be redundant and childish, however, all the videos were right to the point and easy to understand.

The interface was a bit crowded, but the highlighted important buttons made navigation a bit easier. In fact, after using the site for a couple of days I grew to appreciate the home page, as it allows you to see all key information at once. Although, I must admit that the giant clock displaying the trial period was a bit jarring.

Finally, when you are ready to start your course, you can simply click the button on the upper left corner to begin. Here you can manage all your courses and website.

The template you choose during registration will make its appearance. It may just be because I have years of experience creating websites, but the LearnWorlds editor is very easy to use. In moments you can completely transform the design for your needs.

You can start making your course right away. You can add lessons and modules, create quizzes and exams to test your students’ knowledge, and even offer special certificates upon completion of the course. While it certainly does offer many features, it is not uncommon among free trials. To see what makes LearnWorlds stand out, let’s discuss some of its great features.

Drip content allows you to release content over time, which can be useful for courses that are split up into multiple units. You can also set start dates and deadlines for your students. This is a useful feature if you want to limit the amount of time your students have to complete their coursework.

LearnWorlds comes with a few marketing tools to help you promote your course. You can easily embed buy buttons on your website, create discount codes and even run split tests to see which version of your page performs better. You also have access to analytics that show how much traffic each page is generating. To use the marketing features simply connect or air your content.

My one complaint is that they didn’t make it simpler to understand for beginners. You will definitely need some experience with statistics.

The affiliates feature allows you to create affiliate programs to help you promote your courses. You can set commission rates and even track the performance of each affiliate.

If you are let’s say a lifestyle influencer you can partner up with a beauty lotion, and each time someone buys that lotion using your code you earn a profit. As you can see this is a very useful feature to get your brand name out and gain money on the side.

The rest of the features will depend on which plan you choose for the free trial. Speaking of which, let’s discuss them briefly in the next paragraph.

Starter Plan

The Starter plan is the most basic and is designed for those who are just starting out with their online courses. It has all of the essential features that you need to start your online school.

Some of the key features included in this plan are:

  • $5 per course sale transaction fees
  • Unlimited courses
  • Unlimited learners
  • Unlimited video hosting
  • Secure Cloud Hosting & Daily Backups
  • Editable Website Templates
  • Custom Domain Name/URL
  • SEO-Optimized marketing tools
  • SSL Certificate (Additional Security Protocol)
  • Player customizable checkout
  • Drip Feed
  • Video Library
  • Help center plan
  • 1 admin
  • User Tracking & Analytics

Normally I would recommend starting from the cheapest option when it comes to an unfamiliar platform. Not only because of the lower risk but also because it helps you focus on the core features and get more accustomed to the service. However, since the free trial is the same across all the tools, I wouldn’t recommend Learnworlds Starter Plan. From my own experience on the free trial of the Starter plan, I had several issues.

Firstly, I didn’t appreciate how limiting it felt. Don’t get me wrong, it offered me everything I needed to get started selling online courses, but it also hindered my growth. My main issue was the lack of a custom domain. If you want your business to last then having your own website is a must.

Secondly, the 5$ fee per course sale could be quite detrimental. Thankfully, it’s not a percentage, but still, you don’t want to be bleeding funds during a free trial. Even on a monthly plan, this is a bad deal as that fee is going to keep adding up until, before you know it, you have lost hundreds of dollars.

Although it is very generous with its features, especially for a price tag of 29 $/month, you should use your one and only free trial on a LearnWorlds pricing plan with more features.

Professional Trainers Plan

The Professional trainers plan is designed for those who are looking to take their online courses to the next level.

Some additional features included in this plan are:

  • NO additional costs
  • Unlimited landing pages
  • Unlimited site builder tools
  • Blog
  • Custom domain
  • Free and sequential cost navigation
  • Assessment Tools
  • Installments
  • Marketing Form Builder
  • Bundles
  • Subscription Trials
  • Core Affiliate Management
  • Student Monitoring
  • 5 Admins / Instructors

Learnworlds Pro Trainer plan is similar to the Starter plan, but every feature has been upgraded. In general, the Pro trainer was intended for experts, and it shows.

One of the best things about this plan is the Core Affiliate Management tool. This is an incredibly useful tool to grow your business and scale your marketing efforts. With this it, you can easily manage your affiliates, track their performance, and pay them commissions.

Furthermore, with access to LearnWorlds Form Builder you get Zapier triggers, URL redirection, and a rich template library. While this may seem complicated, you can think of it as the backbone of your business that helps you with capturing leads and building sales funnels for your online school.

The only downside of this plan is that it doesn’t offer is that it doesn’t have the impressive customer support that the Learning Center plan boasts, speaking of which let’s move on.

Learning Center Plan

The Learning Center plan is the most popular plan and it’s great for those who want to build a complete online learning platform. It gives you access to all of the features of the Professional trainers plan, plus some powerful additional features.

Some exclusive key features are:

  • Full White-label options
  • Free, sequential, and advanced course navigation
  • Interactive video editor and player
  • Advanced affiliate management
  • 20 custom admin and instructors’ accounts
  • 1-hour premium onboarding
  • Webhooks
  • Custom certificates live classes
  • Customizable course player

As expected of the most expensive plans, the Learnworlds Learning Center plan gives you complete control over your digital school. All of the added features are by no means game-changing, however, it goes a long way to developing your business.

For example, with the help of Webhooks, you can easily integrate your school with any other software you’re using. This is great for those who want to automate their business or use LearnWorlds as part of a larger ecosystem.

Additionally, the Customizable course player is a great feature if you want to create a unique and branded experience for your students.

However, while it may seem like the most premium plan would be the best choice for the free trial, I would argue that it’s not. The main reason is that if you come to depend on the exclusive feature of this plan, then it would be difficult to transition to one of the cheaper plans after the 30 days are up. Furthermore, the large number of complex features might confuse or intimidate you, especially if you are a newcomer to the field.

Which Free Trial To Choose?

Learnworlds offers a free trial for only one LearnWorlds pricing plan. This means that once you make your decision there is no turning back. We have already discussed each plan in depth, which means the decision is up to you.

When you are choosing, you should take in mind not only the features that come with the free trial but also your future with LearnWorlds. What do you want to do after the free trial? Think of the answer to that question carefully and choose the plan that’s right for you.

Why LearnWorlds?

When I first began looking into LearnWorlds, one of the main things that concerned me was the amount of competition. There exists a lot of similar platforms, so a service needs to be distinguishable to make the cut. Fortunately, from my experience on the platform LearnWorlds has definitely found its spot in this community.

One of the main benefits of using LearnWorlds is that it’s very easy to use. The platform has a user-friendly interface and comes with a range of templates and themes that can be used to create professional-looking courses. Even someone completely clueless about the Internet can easily navigate the site and set up their course in minutes.

Additionally, LearnWorlds offers a wide range of integrations, which makes it easy to add features such as quizzes, forums, and chatbots.

Another benefit of using LearnWorlds is that it’s very affordable. The platform has a number of pricing plans to suit different budgets, and users can also take advantage of LearnWorlds’ free trial.

App Builder

That’s right, LearnWorlds now offer besides websites your own mobile app. This is a really unique concept. Instead of paying once for an app builder, this service comes as a feature of the Learning Center plan. And the best part is that it is 100% white-label, 100% yours!

Fully customizable: select your own app name, upload your logo, and fully match colors, texts, backgrounds, onboarding screens, and much more. You can turn your online academy into a branded android app in just 60 minutes.

Considering that most people consume 70% of their media on their phones or tablet, there exists a huge untapped market in this area. With no extra fees, this is a fantastic opportunity to take your business to next level.

Final Thoughts

Over the course of my deep dive into the LearnWorlds free trial, I have been continuingly positively surprised by what the platform had to offer. From the start, a 30-day free trial for all of their plans with no additional cost is pretty astounding. However, all of the services that come with those plans are the real highlights.

Overall, LearnWorlds free trial is a great way to deliver online courses, try out their features, and familiarize yourself with the service. When you begin you should carefully choose which free trial to start. Every plan has its own advantages and disadvantages, so make an informed choice and pick the plan that best works for you.

The platform, in general, is user-friendly with an intuitive easy to understand interface. They offer a wide range of features and are very affordable. With them not only will you gain learning experience, but you can also create a top-notch online school.

I would recommend the LearnWorlds free trial to both beginners and experts. If you had any hesitation before, then now is a great time to get started with LearnWorlds.

Popular Questions

Can you extend LearnWorld’s Free trial?

Unfortunately, you can’t extend the trial period. However, I believe that a month should be enough time to find out whether or not the service is for you.

How can I cancel my free trial?

Of course, if you decided that the platform is not your cup of tea, then you can cancel at any time in just a few seconds. To do this navigate to My account → School Plan.

  1. Select the Yearly or Monthly plan check box (according to the type of plan you are currently subscribed to).
  2. Under the Selected Plan click on Cancel plan.

For more information contact LearnWorlds customer service.

Should I choose the monthly or annual payment, if I do decide to switch to a paid plan?

I think this depends on what you want to do going forward. The annual plans can save you a lot of money, however, they require a long-term commitment. If you are new and want to test out the platform for longer than 30 days, then it’s recommended to choose the monthly plan. However, if you are a full-time course creator, then go with the annual option after the free trial ends.
